A Mississippi school asked students to write a ‘slave letter.
Students at a Mississippi middle school were asked to “pretend like you are a slave” and write a letter “home” to Africa.
A teacher at Purvis Middle School in Purvis, Miss., gave the assignment to eighth graders earlier this week, the Daily Beast reported. A photo of the homework was posted to Twitter.
