Article content There has been a lot of talk about Gastown coming out of Vancouver city hall over the last decade, but not much action. So the Gastown Business Improvement Society decided to do its own urban design study. It was released Friday. Among its recommendations: Activating and animating Gastownâs alleys by opening businesses in them, installing artwork and/or plants, and maybe cutting down on the giant garbage bins.
