It was one year ago Thursday when the state of Texas reported its first positive case of COVID in Fort Bend County, and likely nobody has been impacted more than school children.
Suicide, self-harm, overdoses, anxiety and depression among children has doubled, if not tripled in some cases due in large part to virtual learning.
Nevada's Clark County School District has reported 21 suicides since March 2020.
Relationship trainer Julie Nise says everyone from college students down to pre-K toddlers are feeling the effects.
“They're stuck in their little rooms, their little houses, their little yards with their little dog and their little cat and whatever else, and that's all they've got for months on end,” she says. “We have allowed ourselves, stupid sheeple that we are, to put ourselves in solitary confinement.”
