Apparel brand  is honoring legendary Native American athlete and Olympian Jim Thorpe with a new collection. This new collection of five apparel pieces was designed in partnership with Native American actor Martin Sensmeier, and a portion of proceeds will benefit The Native Wellness Institute.  Born in the Oklahoma Territory, Jim Thorpe learned to run on the plains. In Stockholm, in 1912, Thorpe became the first Native American to win gold medals in the Olympic Games. He did so in the pentathlon and the decathlon, even while wearing a pair of mismatched shoes that he found after his own were stolen. Derailed? Not âWa-Tho-Huk,â his native name that meant âBright Path.â Thorpe shined on. Record breaker. Trailblazer. Legend.
