On April 20, Chauvin was found guilty of second-degree murder, second-degree manslaughter and third-degree murder. In 2020, the death of Floyd would not only spark protests in Minneapolis, but across the country and the world. The roundtable hosted on April 29 by Princeton University’s Office of Diversity and Inclusion and Not in Our Town Princeton featured panelists Jonathan Mummolo, a Princeton University assistant professor of Politics and Public, Civil Rights Attorney Caroline Clarke and George James, a therapist and assistant professor at Thomas Jefferson University.
