Advertisement After the entire collection has been thoroughly culled during the next few years, those documents will be available on the third floor of the downtown central library. But the rest of the floor will be freed up for other services. Freeing up space and staff time was the goal of relinquishing the library’s status as a federal depository for government documents, but Jones said officials have decided it makes more sense to retain “partial selective” status in the program.
