Cruz requires all of its employees mask up even though most of them have been vaccinated and they will continue to ask customers to do the same. Our policy is, you can, as long as you're sitting and dining, you don't have to wear them. But if you get up to do anything, we ask that you put them on across the street. If you've been vaccinated, 68% of Santa Cruz County residents are vaccinated, followed closely by Monterey County at 67% and San Benito County with just over 56%. So you've probably heard some of our CDC officials saying this is now a pandemic of the unvaccinated and that is certainly true here in santa cruz County as well. For now, officials urged businesses to enact masking requirements for all customers indoors. I wear the mask for the rest of my life.
