Bucks County commuters who got caught in last Wednesday’s miles-long traffic backups over one of the busiest toll bridges in the region, get ready: Carmageddon 2.0 is coming later this week. The Delaware River Joint Toll Bridge Commission on Tuesday issued a “severe travel warning” for Friday morning on the Scudder-Falls Toll Bridge which connects Bucks and Mercer County, New Jersey. If weather permits, the two New Jersey-bound travel lanes will be narrowed to a single lane for I-295 commuters during peak commuting hours, the commission said in a press release. The closures are expected to last from 5 a.m. to noon.
