SCUSD Renames Schools After Native American Voices and Kwanz

Sacramento's Kit Carson International Academy will be renamed Umoja International Academy in the fall, as part of SCUSD's commitment to address school facility names that do not support the district's values. The renaming process for three schools is complete, and the work to rebrand these school facilities will begin this summer.
