Cowspiracy: The Sustainability Secret, the film examines the impact of plastic marine debris and overfishing around the world, arguing that commercial fisheries are the main driver of marine ecosystem destruction.
Since its release, however, marine organisations, experts and viewers have criticised the film for “inaccuracies” and rejected allegations of animal welfare abuse.
