The Seguin ISD Board of Trustees recently voted to nominate Dr. Gutierrez for consideration for this yearâs title of Texas Association of School Boards Superintendent of the Year. School Board President Cinde Thomas-Jimenez says the nomination follows a challenging yet successful year for Dr. Gutierrez who has worked around the clock ensuring the safety and academic well being of all students. Dr. Gutierrez says he appreciates the board for the recognition and believes his success is one to be shared by all families, teachers and community members.
