But unfortunately, after the earthquake of 1989, the freeway was tear down, after that, the business, the people in the prosperity of chinatown had gone down the drain. Later on, it was found that it was rose pak who sold out chinatown. It wasnt like that. It was and later on, because of the collusion of rose pak and some highpowered city officials , they later decided to tear down that freeway. As a result, for 30 years the people of chinatown have suffered. I remember the suffering and over 90 of the merchants remember that.
