HAILAKANDI: A show cause notice for violation of Model Code of Conduct (MCC) has been served on an independent candidate in Hailakandi election district, stated a press release.
The show cause notice to this effect was issued by District Development Commissioner-cum- Officer in-charge of MCC and EEM Cell, Ranajeet Kumar Laskar here on Friday to independent candidate Badrul Islam Barbhuiya from 8 Algapur LAC for violating MCC norms.
