Sir David Jason, 83, emerges on crutches as he gives fans their first major health update since postponing Only Fools And Horses convention to undergo hip surgery

The actor, 83, who played Del Boy on the BBC 's 'Only Fools' sitcom from 1981 to 2003, revealed in August he needed to undergo hip surgery to have a 'bionic body part fitted'.
