Sirens activated Tuesday for statewide tornado drill : vimar

No one wants to ever have to use them for the real deal, but local communities used the statewide tornado drill to test their tornado sirens Tuesday morning.
Christian County Emergency Management Director Randy Graham had not received any reports of any local issues with any of the 24 sirens in Christian County working properly.
Todd County Emergency Management Director Daniel Smith says they discovered an issue with dispatch being able to control the Guthrie siren and that issue was being addressed.
Even so, he says the Guthrie siren and all of the others in the county are working.
