Slim & Husky's Pizza Beeria sets opening date for Murfreesbo

Nashville-based Slim & Husky's Pizza Beeria has announced a grand opening date for its Murfreesboro store.
A ribbon cutting will kick off at 11 a.m. June 10 at 2222 Medical Center Parkway in the former location for Freebirds World Burrito, which closed in March. 
Slim & Husky’s Pizza Beeria was founded by childhood friends and Tennessee State University grads Clinton Gray, Derrick Moore and Emanuel Reed. They've been featured on CBS Evening News for their efforts to "empower communities while using pizza as their vehicle to engage." 
Their pizzas — which come in Slim and Husky sizes — are oblong-shaped flatbreads, weighty with toppings. Pizza names are inspired by hip hop artists and songs.
