Some worry that South Dakota's social studies revision proce

Earlier this month, the Secretary of the South Dakota Department of Education announced a two-week extension on applications for a new work group to revise social studies standards. The work of a first task force was scuttled by Gov. Kristi Noem after accusations of politicization from members of the workgroup, mostly teachers.
