It happened around 2:30 p.m. along the Interstate 85 northbound exit ramp to Riverdale Road.
A Georgia State Patrol trooper shot and killed a wanted murder suspect Wednesday afternoon along a busy interstate, sources confirmed to
Channel 2 Action News.
Sources told
Channel 2 investigative reporter Richard Belcher that the trooper was working with another agency tracking a murder suspect and got into a chase.
GSP told
Channel 2′s Tom Jones that the trooper performed a PIT maneuver on the suspect. That’s when officials said the suspect pulled out a gun.
