It is a working farm, according to the winery bio, that has been in the Wuerker family since the 1940s when Todd’s grandfather emigrated from Germany to start a family in Cape May County. That farm has been home to cattle and vegetables before being transformed into hosting vines, starting in 1997 when Cabernet Sauvignon was planted there.
