Clean Ocean Action Facebook Share An annual spring cleanup of Jersey Shore beaches that was canceled last year due to the coronavirus pandemic will be back this year, according to Clean Ocean Action, the environmental group that has sponsored the semi-annual Beach Sweeps event now in its 35th year. Clean Ocean Action officials say there is still time to register online for the cleanup, which is scheduled for Saturday, April 17, which allows volunteers to choose the beach of their choice in Monmouth, Ocean, Atlantic or Cape May counties.
