After being spurred from the Houston Texans at the last minute of their general manger search, Steelers Vice President Omar Khan has interviewed for the Carolina Panthers vacated general manager job. For the second time in a week, the Steelers salary cap ‘guru’ has been interviewed for the chance at a raise, and one of the most prominent jobs in all of sports. The Carolina Panthers are a wild card in these preliminary talks, as they have already interviewed 15 people for the job. However, Panthers owner David Tepper was formerly a Steelers minority owner and has lots of experience with Khan.
