Also, the couple is helping renovate a local garden for elementary school kids. “We were joining forces to show up at Franklin Elementary School in Oakland to basically renovate their entire playground and their garden, not only to renovate it and create this opportunity for the kids, but to let the community and those kids lead in terms of the decision making of how they wanted their playground to be and what’s important to them to build some energy and excitement around that,” Curry said.
