How did he get the controller in the first place, you may ask? Well, it seems the cheeky little thing had pushed his couch up against the entertainment unit, using the extra couple of inches it afforded him to clamber atop the shelf, where he was then able to stand up and reach the floating shelves where I had stored the controller.
