Stone Temple Pilots have released an early version of their hit “Trippin’ on a Hole in a Paper Heart,” featured on the upcoming 25th anniversary reissue of STP’s 1996 album
Tiny Music…Songs from the Vatican Gift Shop.
“Usually we would have one or two songs per album where we would record the music and not have any vocal ideas to accompany us,” drummer
Eric Kretz tells Stereogum, which premiered the recording. “With this early version of ‘Trippin,’ [frontman]
