It was still too early to tell what landfall and storm surge will look like as the disorganized storm churned Tuesday evening in the Bay of Campeche, forecasters said Tuesday. “Tomorrow we will start delivering sand to all the usual locations, and inmates will also come in to fill sandbags for elderly or people with disabilities," Terrebonne Parish President Gordy Dove said. The parish will also pump water out of the area's bayous and close floodgates top prevent south winds from pushing Gulf of Mexico tides inland, he said.
