The management of the University of Ibadan (UI) on Thursday said it will not accommodate any student on campus when it resumes for the 2020/2021 academic session. The clarification follows the information making the rounds on social media that the university has published the allocation of students into their respective hostels and students are expected to make payments. The university clarified in a statement signed by Mr Olatunji Oladejo, Director of Public Communication of the institution in Ibadan on Thursday, that it has not published any list, advising the public to disregard the information on the social media. Part of the statement read“The university hereby wishes to inform the new students and the general public to disregard the information as the student registration portal has not been opened. Kindly beware!
