THE TOP ONE WILL BE SENT TO SPACE. >> WE ARE COOKING IT EXACTLY HOW THE STUDENTS PUT IT TOGETHER. REPORTER: HIGH SCHOOL COOKING TEAMS ACROSS THE COUNTRY ARE COMPETING FOR SCHOLARSHIPS THROUGH THE NASA HUNCH CULINARY CHALLENGE. >> THE STUDENTS OF TO COME UP WITH A RECIPE. CHEF DEAN DELIS SAYS HE TALKED WITH STUDENTS ABOUT THEIR RECIPES TO MAKE SURE HE DID IT JUST RIGHT. >> HAVING THE FLAVOR PROFILES OF HEAVY SMOKE. THE RECIPES ARE BETWEEN TWO AND 400 CALORIES, BUT STILL HAVE A LOT OF FLAVOR. >> FOR ASTRONAUTS IN SPACE THEY LOSE ALL SENSE OF TASTE AND SMELL, SO ALL OF THE RECIPES ARE SUPER FLAVORFUL.
