SUV crashes into This Is It Cafe, 8th crash in past year at

WEST PALM BEACH — The shards of glass have been swept from the dining area. The chunks of concrete have been carried away, too.
This Is It Cafe, an institution in Northwood Village beloved for its fried catfish, sweet tea and homey atmosphere, was open for business Tuesday, one day after a crash at 24th Street and Spruce Avenue sent a West Palm Beach Fire Department SUV crashing into the front windows of the establishment.
No one was killed in the crash, but, judging from the damage and the location of the dining tables in the cafe, that was as much fate and happenstance as anything else.
