This week, COVID-19 restrictions eased up for businesses in Lake Tahoe. On the California side, Placer and El Dorado counties moved to the red tier in the state's reopening planning. Nevada also loosened restrictions, allowing restaurants, bars, gyms and casinos to open indoors at 50% capacity. In Nevada, public gatherings and events are also allowed at 50% capacity or limited at 250 people, whichever is less.
