Taiwan shares end up as TSMC hits day's high

Taipei, Jan. 12 (CNA) Shares in Taiwan moved higher Wednesday as contract chipmaker Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Co. (TSMC) rose for the third consecutive session to hit the day's high ahead of an investor conference scheduled for Thursday.
