Permanent donation points are being installed in Tesco’s across Lancashire. Shoppers in Burnley, Rawtenstall, Chorley and Leyland stores can now donate to their community every time they shop as collection points will become a permanent fixture in the supermarkets. Jeff Green, Development Manager at FareShare Lancashire and Cumbria, said: “Tesco is really leading the way by enabling their customers to donate food to local vulnerable communities via collection points in their stores.
