A while back, he realized so many of his students fall below the poverty line and weren't getting the food and basic necessities they need outside of school. So, he turned one of the art rooms at school into a grocery store! The store stays fully stocked with help from local businesses and students can get whatever they need. The students earn points by doing good deeds, then use those points to pay for their items. Good deeds can be anything from helping someone with homework, assisting a teacher, being a good friend, etc... The store doesn't just supply things like food, clothes and shoes. It also provides job skills because its run entirely by students.
