Followers of fashion will be accustomed to a seasonal cycle of new collections and regular âdropsâ. But for longtime watch industry observers, the increasing frequency with which the more thrusting brands now send a new timepiece down the catwalk is still something weâre getting used to. Only last month, Breitling whipped the covers off the debonair Premier Heritage line; and yet here we are, exactly a month to the day later, and the lusty brand is back at it, calling us to attention with its fifth âSummit Webcastâ and news of its Super Chronomat 44. The pace is distinctly un-Swiss â and none the worse for it.
