The CAA standings becoming impossible to predict in mid-April? Who would have thought?
Towson continued to shake things up in the league, beating No. 15 Hofstra 10-8 on Tuesday afternoon.
The Tigers were strong defensively, jumped out in the first half, then stood strong amid a late Hofstra push. It was Towson’s second-straight win, moving the Tigers to 5-6 and 2-3 in the CAA. It was also their second Top 20 win, and it’s created some more intrigue in the conference — as did Drexel's win over Delaware this weekend.
Senior attackman Brody McLean scored four goals, midfielder Jake McLean scored two goals, and Shane Brennan made 14 saves.
