Update on the Marshallese community in Arkansas Tyson Chicken announced it would begin onsite COVID-19 vaccinations at its Iowa plant this week. In Arkansas, where there is a large Pacific Islander community working in the processing facilities, the company announced it would offer four hours of pay as an enticement for its workers to get the shots. We first talked to Dr. Sheldon Riklon last summer. He's as associate professor at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences and he operates out of a clinic that serves his community in Springdale. The alarming number of fatal cases from COVID in the Marshallese community last year prompted an all-out effort to contain the virus. Riklon gives us an update.
