In case you missed it, the first round of the 2021 Major League Baseball draft took place on Sunday night. The Pittsburgh Pirates held the No. 1 overall choice and went with a surprise pick in Louisville catcher Henry Davis. That selection let arguably the best pitcher in the draft, Vanderbilt's Jack Leiter, fall to the Texas Rangers at #2. Leiter's teammate, Kumar Rocker, who himself was once in the conversation for the top choice, fell all the way to the Mets at No. 10. The rest of the first-round choices can be found here. The selection process concludes on Tuesday, with coverage of rounds 11-20 on MLB.com.
