The United Food and Commercial Workers union tells the Globe and Mail the company is preparing for a “potential reopening” on March 3, which union officials say should be delayed because workers remain concerned about their safety. More than 500 confirmed COVID-19 cases have been linked to the plant’s outbreak. Three workers have died. Olymel told the Globe and Mail on Tuesday that it had not yet decided when the plant would reopen.
