In New York City, location is everything. So when New York-based Palestinian designer Ahmad AbouZanat was entrusted with designing a pied-à-terre for domr Tennessee-based clients, he knew that he had to make full use of its 360-degree views—while still making sure it served as a functional living space.“I call it an oversized hotel suite,” laughs AbouZanat, who used lighter colors throughout the 44th-floor apartment to tie it all together, combined with pops of color in little nooks and crannies for interest. The little study area near the stairs, for instance, captivates the eye with a patterned pouf and navy walls, while the master bedroom’s accent turquoise walls envelop the space with warmth.
