Thousands of additional COVID-19 vaccine doses to be delivered in East Texas this week
State says Texas remains in Phase 1A, but those in Phase 1B may be able to get the vaccine at local providers

AUSTIN, Texas (KLTV) - Thousands of COVID-19 vaccine doses will be shipped to East Texas this week, according to the Texas Department of State Health Services.
According to a DSHS news release, state health officials are instructing the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention to ship COVID-19 vaccine to more than 350 providers in 94 Texas counties. The CDC will deliver 175,100 doses of the Moderna vaccine and 81,900 doses of the Pfizer vaccine directly to providers.
