Three-year-old cancer patient headed to Stanley Cup final after online plea

Article content
As hockey enthusiasts scramble to get their hands on one of 3,500 tickets available for each Stanley Cup final game at the Bell Centre — and likely pay an arm and a leg for it — one young Montreal Canadiens fan will have the chance to watch his hero, Carey Price, play in person.
Three-year-old Liam Shayton Awashish, who lives in the Saguenay—Lac-St-Jean First Nations community of Mashteuiatsh, will be attending one of the matchups between the Canadiens and the Tampa Bay Lightning at the Bell Centre. This comes after a photo of the young cancer patient circulated on social media Friday with a plea to help make his dream come true.
