With the win, Clemson concluded its 2020 season with an overall record of 12-10 and was 6-10 in ACC matchups. Virginia Tech (6-11, 5-11 ACC) also closed out its season on Saturday. Both teams were knotted at 12-12 in the opening set, but Clemson outscored the Hokies 13-7 in the final 20 plays of the set to win it, 25-19. Hannah posted five of her 20 total kills in game No. 1 on just six swings with no errors. Finney and Thomas also added four kills each. Set No. 1 saw plenty of fluid offense as Clemson hit .538, while the Hokies hit .345.
