Hopkinsville, KY, USA / WHOP 1230 AM | News Radio Apr 23, 2021 10:54 AM County inmates in the Todd County Jail will soon be required to pay a fee for each day they are incarcerated after a policy change approved Friday morning by Todd Fiscal Court. Kentucky law allows jails to have a policy that charges a per-day fee and Jailer Jeff Penick recently approached fiscal court about pursuing those funds. He conferred with Todd County Attorney Jeff Traughber and he presented the fee schedule—including $30 per day for those county inmates.
