Print Tenants of a Carlsbad business park are asking the city to step up traffic control on a section of Faraday Avenue that has seen at least four accidents, including a recent fatality, in the past year. A 29-year-old man lost control of his motorcycle in a curve, went off the pavement, over the sidewalk and crashed into a building about 3:15 p.m. Dec. 4 at the corner of Faraday and Palmer Way, much to the horror of the building’s occupants. He was declared dead at the scene. He was identified only as an Encinitas resident. “It’s just terrible,” said Tracy Wankner, of Worth Property Management, who handles the Faraday building. “This one was additionally traumatic. You can’t unsee some of these things.”
