Traffic stop on I-70 leads to marijuana trafficking charges for Maryland men

Newark Advocate
NEWARK — Three Maryland men are facing drug trafficking charges in Licking County after their car was allegedly found to have $18,000 in suspected marijuana during a traffic stop.
Anthony O. Covington Jr., 25, of District Heights, Maryland; Ramone L. Robey, 24, of Riverdale, Maryland; and Idrissa D. Tillman, 23, of Suitland, Maryland, are each charged with one count of trafficking in marijuana, a third-degree felony, in Licking County Common Pleas Court.
According to criminal complaints filed in Licking County this week, a Licking County deputy was sitting in a marked cruiser along Interstate 70 when he saw a blue, four-door Toyota Camry with California license plates "immediately change lanes from the left lane to the right lane in between two semis."
