Link to Share The Australian Trainers' Association has called for Racing Australia to 'step up' to urgently bring uniformity to the industry in the wake of Racing Victoria's latest push to progress the whip rule. ATA chief executive Andrew Nicholl called for RA to assume control to end state-based agendas and therefore ensure consistency throughout the entire national industry. "On these fundamental issues that have national application, we are screaming out for consistency and uniformity," Nicholl said. "We are screaming out for that. "They (RA) need to step up and do a far better job because their inability is leading to the states breaking away and trying to run their own race, so to speak, or to pursue state-based solutions rather than national solutions and that's really the essence of this.
