I can't wait to have a chat with her at around about 20 past 8 you can also e-mail me this morning Beryl at. B.k. All of that plus great music and here's a bit of a classic consequence Get right to Carol thank you to you now a full of past and has been is now being questioned by police in relation to the deaths of 39 migrants whose bodies were found in a lorry container in Essex it was the launch of the 8 women and $31.00 man with Chinese nationals but a number of FIA in amaze families have raised concerns that their relatives could also be among the tatt reporter Alice Razan told joins us now good morning Alice Can you remind us what we know you say Father Yes Donna say these bodies were found in a lorry trial or it's an industrial park in Essex on Wednesday morning that contain a tri glad been crossing backwards and forwards seeing the u.k. And Europe finally getting to Purfleet on cheese day night. From Seabrook Belgium then placed in a truck to collect today that and left the pool shortly after one on Wednesday morning offices were called to the industrial park where the bodies were discovered about half an hour late and 4 people including the driver been arrested and it's now thought some of the victims were Vietnamese Yes and that initially Essex Police thought all $39.00 victims 8 women and that's woman with Chinese nationals now they say that is a developing picture and they can't give any further detail into formal id prices have taken place a Vietnamese organization in the u.k. Via home that says it's been sent photos of almost 20 people reported missing aged between 15 and 45 in the Vietnamese embassy in London says 8 in touch with police now Natalia bunny Leskie bugs and she's from the Migration Policy Institute in Washington and says that are established smuggling routes from China and Vietnam the profiles of people engaging the services of smugglers can be quite different so from China we tend to see relatively well male my grounds moving to seek better economic opportunities for me you know you might see some lower skilled individuals probably Poynter China 1st and then making the trip over to Europe and I was some families have said they think their relatives may have been involved yes now the b.b.c. Knows of 6 Vietnamese families who are worried they might be connected to the victims including the relatives of 26 year old from to try to hasn't been heard of since she sent text messages on Choose day night the last message her family got was 2 hours before that trailer arrived at the Purfleet terminal and in that she just told her parents that she was really sorry she said that her trip failed she said that she was unable to breathe and she told her parents she loved them now her brother not one he says that some of the $30000.00 pound charge forget. And his sister to the quay was paid to people smugglers and he said they last knew that she was in Belgium We've also been told about 26 year old man who's missing a 19 year old woman and in fact it's understood the smugglers in some situations have given money back to some families it's absolutely tragic isn't it but is this an unusual routes that people take to come to Britain it's not particularly unusual for people to come from Southeast Asia but it's not perhaps the rate we hear about the most it's not a heavy traffic almost now a spokesman for the u.n. International Organization for Migration they've said that the discovery of these bodies doesn't show a major shift in migration patterns but what it does show is the conditions that people traffickers will put people in the temperature in a lorry like that can be as low as minus 25 Celsius now Debbie Beadle is the author of a recent report about trafficking from Vietnam to Europe and says lots of people are tempted over but that doesn't often mean they're going to get a better life often what's happening is they are being exploited who you know working in Melbourne has or sex exploitation or cannabis cultivation for instance so you know they're coming on these have endless journeys often also being exploited along the way and then once in the u.k. They're then being exploited again and often having to pay off a huge debt you know up to $40000.00 pounds we're seeing so it's a lot of money and just finding Alice thank you what's happening with the criminal investigation at the moment. Being questioned now last night a man was arrested at Stansted Airport on suspicion of manslaughter and conspiracy to traffic people he's $48.00 and from Northern Ireland 2 people from Warrington are being held on the same charges and the lorry driver is in custody on suspicion of murder All right Alison thank you very much indeed for bringing us up to date with the latest on that absolutely tragic story and in fact will be looking at some of the newspapers between now and 9 and not surprisingly the newspapers carry that photograph of that beautiful young girl Pam t. Try my Vietnamese woman he's thought to be one of the people whose body was found in the back of that lorry in Essex Good morning everybody it is the weekend it's called will we hear it's quarter past 7 Good morning Cornwall's weather. Is back and your always a lovely sighs in the morning thank you yeah I've got that particular mellows at the moment. Very been sitting across the desk twitching this morning. Which people it is. A worry because pools very very good when it comes to the weather and you stop twitching when you do the weather Detroit Yes. Great but what of blustery old night it's be we heard from Linda on Twitter that her. Garden furniture had blown against her lounge wind which is really really bad so do be careful if you've got free standing things out there and also good morning to the reference back up that lovely reference back about from St Claire who's tweeted she says I'm marrying Becky parsonage and Paul do you prefer at some clear today she says I really hope they get a break between midday and quarter past one so they can at least get in and out and have a few pics without being blown away. I see walk into a funky hall take it away. Mind you congratulations Yes yes of course he rather easily is congratulations to Becky and Paul not even the weather can spoil a day like magic hour and I'll get my story of my wedding day once you've done your weather if he really wants a hair of. It is quite a poor day today there is a yellow weather warning for rain out and that's valid until 1570 and rain particularly heavy over high ground potentially 80 to 90 millimeters over the Moore's maybe just over the border into Devon also some quite strong winds as well and with that rainfall there are 11 flood alerts out for all the major rivers across Cornwall so it is going to be a mainly overcast day today with the spells of potentially heavy rain spreading eastwards really throughout the morning and into the early early part of the afternoon that rain will then start to ease as we go through the afternoon from the west and it should be clear in most areas by the evening and windy day today as well with fresh to strong south westerly winds veer to a northerly direction during the afternoon and there is also risk of some coastal gales with gusts of over 50 miles an hour expected in some coastal areas mainly down towards the southwest of the county maximum term just today between 14 under very mild 17 Celsius with a time of year that's 57 to 63 Fahrenheit so any lingering rain mainly if there is any to the east of the Kanti will quickly clear this evening to leave a drawing night with long clear spells developing winds are going to continue to ease as well to become moderate to north or northwesterly and it's going to feel much cooler tonight temperatures down as low as 4 Celsius in places 39 Fahrenheit so tomorrow day to look forward to adroit and find a good spells of sunshine throughout the day it is going to feel a little chilly although of late temperatures down to around 10 to 13 as the maximums 50 to 55 Fahrenheit in moderate north all of the. Easterly winds and high pressure is going to be dominant just for the 1st part of next week bringing mainly dry conditions for Monday some sunny intervals there is going to be quite windy with a moderate to fresh easterly wind maximum term tours around $10.00 to $12.00 Celsius $5854.00 Fahrenheit feeling a few degrees cooler than that in the wind chill though minimum term which is overnight around $6.00 to $8.00 Celsius 43 to 46 Fahrenheit staying around 11 Celsius in silly 52 for her right a few showers possible Monday night and into Tuesday morning but it should be a mainly dry start on Choose day though cloud is going to develop through the day and there is a risk of a little patchy light rain later in the day winds are going to be more talk fresh occasionally strong easterly with gusts of over 40 miles an hour in exposed areas temperatures again around 10 to 12 Celsius overnight minimums of 6 to 10 Celsius though it should be addressed on Wednesday rain is going to spread in from the West during the afternoon some of this rain could turn heavy at times and the winds going to be moderate or fresh southeasterly occasionally strong to go force in the Far West with gusts of towards 50 miles an hour maximum temperatures again around 12 Celsius $54.00 Fahrenheit and ensure water's forecast valid until 6 o'clock tomorrow morning the wind Southwest 6 to go 8 very north 5 to 7 decreasing for later the weather rain and drizzle 1st the visibility moderate or poor becoming good all right that's great all right now you're right pull out he's struggling a little bear Honestly now he has to ease bearing up again. Here to stop. A sympathy thank you to all the yes well you can sympathize with me on my wedding day it was 4 days now 3 days before the hurricane than a long time ago. But that's so it was the worst possible weather it really was and my wedding dress got spattered with Marty my back a nearly blew away my veil pretty much did blow away but you know f. . But he still talks about that wedding they say it was the. Most memorable wedding ever so if you are getting married today and all whenever and it rains don't worry about it the weather never spoils it then absolutely but if you are celebrating something really special to say do let us know and we can say hello you know 10139 on the text this morning 81 travel 3 starting out text with the word coma on the trains so far this morning though we're just getting reports of signalling problems between Bachmann Parkway and list God say do you check before you travel so few signalling problems on the trains between Bachmann Parkway and list God but there are the Tooth Fairy's running between tall points in Devonport c.b.c. Is the best of my life the emotions here at Saturday Breakfast with meat on a high level good morning now how would you feel if somebody you didn't they decided to offer you one percent of their multi-million pound business well probably if you were like me you'd think it was a scam but this is what happened to a single unemployed mom from Plymouth and the 32000 pounds has begun to transform her life the offer was made by x. Royal Marine Pisa Kelly chief executive and founder of an app called employer ball which aims to make a positive impact on people's lives he says he was determined to gift the shares to somebody who was genuinely in need of support so he chose a random time and place at a job center in Davenport and we'll be hearing from j.d. Gray he's a great case he was the lucky recipient in a minute but 1st I asked Peter how he came to start his business and why he's determined to give something back it was my life from being 18 and I woke up one day and therefore while the something else only to do I didn't really know what it was and then to be suddenly Frost into this life where you know I was a somebody and now I'm I'm really struggling and I got heavily into debt where I'm trying to sustain my life provide for my family and then I just started to really lose it mentally because I lost my identity you know I used to be somebody in my own eyes and now you know I just look at myself and think God you know you just you're worthless and they say it's a self destructive mode that you go into when you're in luck or in addition Yes but you realize somehow that you had to get the strength to change your life and you were able to do it. And you as you say you set up your company employ a bull but that was until you realize that you actually wanted to help others be able to change their lives as well yeah it's about fulfillment and belief and I think that you know no matter what industry you look out on or where people are you know their current circumstances shouldn't dictate their future and actually what what we try and do is bring to the forefront skills that they've developed over a long period of time through different industries different. Careers you know even different life experiences and those skills that are very hard earned. You know directly contribute contributable to businesses you know things like resilience and and work in well under pressure and stress you know these are these are all things that are seen as as negative but actually are huge positives when it comes to business so the important thing was looking and saying Well firstly how are people you know happy at work how can we make them happy at work and how can we help people to be fulfilled by their work and how do we create a level playing field that looks at not just past work experience and the you know the the poor algorithms that they use now to match people to jobs which just isn't human and isn't there you know how do we bring to the forefront the skills that they've they've learned you know where they relevant to different companies where we can get people to be you know happy and fulfilled and effectively close that gap between business and society where you know people are struggling and not realizing their potential but you were able to do it with the help of somebody called Ben from genie says is that right yeah so Ben is the managing director of level $39.00 which is the most connected start accelerator in the world and they're based at Canary Wharf and he's funny enough the next Marine as well and he connected with me in a van and we got chatting and and he liked what we were about and what we were trying to achieve and. And he had this sort of side idea that he come up with which was about creatine a sense of social engagement from start some businesses in general and how they are valuable to the wider world and how we can make excessive so he introduced me genius years and said you know are you happy to give away one cent your company and I will absolutely of course it fits exactly with our message and our mission and if this is a way that we can show people that we're serious about our mission then you know it's not about the money it's about impact can I ask you at that point how much was your company where for them 3000000 right say one percent is well what you've given away 30000 pounds yes so we did it at the same time as doing a crowdfunding round so we did a crowdfunding around a few months ago we closed the quarter 1000000 pound at $3000000.00 pounds valuation so technically Jodi shares an hour for Tuesday over $32000.00 pounds but that will just continue to grow so as we grow as a company as we become less more you know one percent and the way we've done is that she doesn't get diluted she would take one percent of my shares so she knows she's ready or she wants to sell or or soon as we if we ever sell the company then she unlocks one cent from my current shareholders. Which means that she'll never get dilute it so whatever we're for that time she'll get one percent of that suspect but really will be a 1000000000 pounds. When she was quite a lot isn't that great we'll hear more from Peter at just after 8 o'clock this morning but Jodi told me what happened on that day in August that's what I think of because I went to you know do you mind if we have a word another you have a go an easy call in a gift you know once a month business my fasting was pure shock like why would you do that to somebody new never met because I know that these guys in m
