bribing, some would argue. >> that could be the case. i see it differently, and here's how and here's why. the fact is people contribute to colleges and as a result of those contributions, students benefit. they have libraries that are built, sports buildings built that are better, computers. all of those students in that school based upon donations are participating in the good will of those who contributed. when you look at bribery, who benefits from that? the person who gets the money from the bribe and the person who paid the bribe based upon doing what i asked you to do. so, yeah, we can talk about the fine distinctions between people who donate, but my view is those who donate are doing sew for the benefit of a world of students who are perhaps yet unborn where others are doing it for my benefit and guess what, it benefits you too. so there is a benefit. >> should they get a leg up, though, when donating.
