town because of a snowstorm last week in washington and maybe they should have taken a little bit more time. he said it was a very -- it was kind of a very rapid process. everybody was looking forward to getting out of town because of the snowstorm. i think we probably should have had more discussion about it. and i would suggest -- >> yeah think? >> yeah let's parse that out. you sign a letter quickly to iran because you're in a hurry to leave town because of a snowstorm? >> i think what is most sort of detrimental here is that when it comes to congress having an imprint on what's happening in iran this has been bipartisan. there's already a pretty large group of democrats who support republicans. it's bipartisan legislation to actually pass legislation to say, mr. president, you're not going to be able to not ratify because it's not a treaty. this is not going to be something we can really sign on to as the united states government unless congress does so. this has made that bipartisan movement a little bit more
