heart disease and stroke if over age 60. let's go to elizabeth cohen. what are the changes? >> jake, when the recommendations came out that some people should consider taking a daily aspirin to prevent heart attack or stroke it may have gone a little too far. it's good for many people, but it's not good for everyone because a daily aspirin can put you at risk for more bleeding. aspirin can make you or contribute to bleeding. it's especially a problem with older people and you don't want to have that happen. let's take a look at what the u.s. preventive task force is proposing in its most recent proposal to change these guidelines. what they said is that if you have had a heart attack or a stroke and your doctor has been telling you to take a daily aspirin, keep taking it. that's so important. we want people to hear that. if you've had a heart attack or stroke and your doctor wants you to a low-dose aspirin, keep doing that. if you've not had a heart attack
