spoke to him about it and why he wanted to know and i think his parents were caught off guard. i know they were caught off guard because they just agreed. and the next thing you know we're sitting at the table and they're all slogging away and i thought wow, we're going to find out. they got back in town. i don't remember if it was his mom or his dad that called. they said don't send it in. we don't want to know. they had time to process and they were like, i don't want to know. i don't blame them. i remember him talking about it and thinking about it and trying to understand their point of view, but he just -- he had to know for himself.
